🚀 Embark on a thrilling adventure with NW Film Camp's Creator Camp this Spring! Dive into content creation and digital storytelling, where students create short videos, stop-motion films, and character animations that they can be genuinely proud of. Our Creator Camp is focused on collaboration and storytelling. Students will have a blast planning and crafting creative content with a positive message while making new friends this summer. Our week-long day camps are designed to spark creativity and collaboration in aspiring filmmakers.
Our Spring Creator Camp welcomes children aged 8-12 to delve into the world of storytelling, Students Ignite their creativity and conquer the digital world with confidence as they master the art of telling awesome stories though Digital Shorts, Stop Motion Film and Animation!
Class Requirements
- No experience required
What you'll learn
- Digital Storytelling: Crafting short videos, stop-motion films, and animations to express creative ideas.
- Video Production: Learning the fundamentals of shooting and editing videos, including camera operation and basic editing techniques.
- Creative Thinking: Developing original concepts and bringing them to life through visual media, fostering imagination and innovation
- Collaboration and Teamwork: Working in groups to plan and produce projects, enhancing communication and cooperative abilities.
- Technical Proficiency: Gaining hands-on experience with filmmaking equipment and software, building technical skills applicable to various media projects
Sample Class Format
- 8:30 - Drop off / Check in
- 9:00 - Instruction / Pre-production
- 10:30 - Work on projects
- 12:00 - Lunch Break - Bring a lunch!
- 12:30 - Team Building Outside
- 12:45 - Continue working on projects
- 1:30 - Editing/Creating workshops
- 2:30 - Pick up - No later than 3:00pm
Other Things To Know
Tuition and Fees Refund Policy - If you are forced to cancel for any reason you will receive your full purchase price as a transferable credit, good for any NW Film Camp session through 2027. Tuition is non-refundable but transferable.
