This shirt is a classic comfortable closet staple.  Skills covered are:

• two methods to insert sleeves

• using your sewing machine to sew buttons and buttonholes

We will be working with pattern 6984 from Butterick Patterns. You will need time to print and assemble this pattern, so please register at least 48 hours before class begins.

Loose-fitting camp collar shirt has forward shoulder seams, patch pockets with buttoned flaps, side slits, stitched hems and sleeve length variation. 

Once you register you will be emailed the pdf pattern that will fit bust/chest sizes 30"-48".

Notions are provided; students must bring 2 and 3/4 yards of of cotton, linen, flannel fabric. Challenging fabrics include silk, satin, rayon. PLease do not use knits or other stretchy fabrics, or anything plush like fleece.
