Motorized race cars
Ages 12 and up
In this fun Tinkering challenge, kids will their creativity and ingenuity and our tools and materials to build their own custom motorized race car and race it against their friends. Experienced teachers will be on hand to assist in the wood shop.

Our backyard opens up to Patterson playground, so in addition to our tinkering workshop there is tons of space for kids to play (as long as an adult keeps an eye on them at the playground)!
You are welcome to bring any food or drink you'd like, including adult beverages.
Additional kids are welcome at a cost of $20 per kid. Younger siblings who do not participate in the project are of course welcome to attend at no cost.
