Are you looking for children’s birthday party venues in NYC? If so, you’ve come to the right place. Book Nook is a magical space for birthday fun and is available year round for kids’ birthday parties.

Our light-filled, cozy environment provides the comfort of home with all the extra space you need to host an unforgettable event. And if your child attends classes at any of our locations, you’ll also get a rental discount.

-Two hours of private use of our entire space (excluding office and cottage classrooms)

-Two party helpers to assist in setup and clean up.

-2 Birthday Signs: Sidewalk Sign + Chalkboard Sign

-We will provide 12 chairs + 2 kid size rectangular tables | (additional children $25/each, maximum 20 children)

-Two rectangular large tables for cake and food (6ft)

-Surround sound speaker system and an iPod to link your playlist

-Cake Cutting knife + lighter

-Party Package prices include 12 children. The birthday boy or girl is free! (13 kids TOTAL) Additional children are $25 each (Park Slope, maximum is 13).
-Please note that the maximum number of children Book Nook can accommodate at birthday parties is 20 kids and 35 adults. When selecting the estimated headcount only include the number of kids - not adults.
-Your package includes 2 hours of party time, with 30 minutes to set up prior to the party and up to 30 minutes after to clean up. If extra set-up and teardown time is needed you will have to purchase extra time by the hour. PLEASE NOTE, the hosts are responsible for taking down any party decor or extra party supplies brought in. The BN staff will help take care of clean-up with food, drinks, and cake, crafting supplies, furniture breakdown, overall sanitizing and cleaning. If anything is left behind that is the responsibility of the host, an automatic charge of $100 for cleanup will be charged.

-Available time for birthday parties: 10:00am-5pm (to request a different time please note that in the submission form)
-Parties are booked from Fri evening-Sunday evening

-A $250 non-refundable deposit is required to reserve Ollie Parties. The balance will be due on the day before your event.
-All children must be accompanied by a parent or caregiver at a Birthday Party. If you choose to only invite 12 kids, two parents are allowed. For a headcount of over 13 children, only one parent is allowed to attend with the guest.
-We do not provide food or beverages. You can have food catered or delivered before the party time or date within a 2 hour window.
-Host is responsible for providing food, beverages, paper products, party favors and decor.
-Our pantry consists of a full refrigerator for your party needs. We have counter space and storage space for favors, decorations, etc. that may be brought in the day before.
-All parties MUST end by the allocated time. Extra fee per hour will be charged for any times surpassed.

Policy

All guests, including parents, children and outside vendors will remove shoes upon entering the Book Nook studio.

No tacks, tape, staples, glue or other adhesives are permitted on walls and shelves.

Host of the party is responsible for any damages that may have occurred during the party. An extra charge will be sent for any damages.

Book Nook staff is for setting up and cleaning up and not part of the entertainment (unless entertainment was added on).

Any outside entertainment vendors must show proof of insurance.

Confetti, glitter and pinatas are not permitted. If there is something you would like to use during your party, please check with the director ahead of time.

Each child must be accompanied by a parent/adult.

Book Nook is not responsible for any lost items.

All strollers must remain outside.

We are not responsible for any missing party items that were brought by the host.

Parties must end at the time agreed upon. Parties that run past the end time, will be charged extra by the hour.

A headcount was given in advance. Any additional children that attend will be charged extra. +$25 per child. If more than the maximum number of children attend we will have to charge double per child. Babies under 9 months are free.
