Class Experience

As featured in U.S. News and School Library Journal, our hit Social Skills program makes its summer debut for a special limited engagement!

For the last 7 years, our Saturday Social Skills program has taught kids lessons in collaboration, patience, communication, and temperance through immersive Dungeons & Dragons storytelling. Now, we’re proud to introduce a newly expanded full day version of this groundbreaking offering!

DETAILS

When you enroll, we’ll send you a questionnaire to learn more about your child and their unique needs. This insight will help us integrate them into the program seamlessly and set goals for their improvement.

The games we play in Summer Social Skills are all about working together as a team – no competition, no aggression, no bad feelings! Our flagship Dungeons & Dragons sessions make their return – this highly imaginative, story-driven game gives children a vehicle to exercise their social skills as they work together to overcome challenges. We’ll also play cooperative board games where kids strategize together and communicate clearly, working towards a mutual goal. And we’ll even bring the group to Prospect Park for safe, energetic physical games!

This program is all about personal attention! We staff Summer Social Skills with only our upper echelon of all-star instructors at a three-to-one ratio or less. Throughout the week, we’ll be in touch with you about your child’s behavior, progress, and challenges.

Suitable for kids ages 6-16, Summer Social Skills is only available for 3 sessions in July as a weekly commitment. To ensure the best possible experience, seats are very limited. Book yours now!

Registering siblings? A 5% discount on each session will be applied on the checkout page.

Please note: Brooklyn Game Lab does not provide clinical services. Documentation cannot be provided for insurance reimbursement purposes.

Kids earn merits for creativity,  fair play, and positive contributions to the game.

This full-day program meets 9am-3pm every day during the week of your registration.
