Class Experience
Students will get to design various projects out of clay!! Students will learn basic hand-crafted ceramic skills constructing the following projects:
- Pinch Pot Clay "Monster" Face
- Coil Pot decorated with multiple elements
- Additional Coil Pot/Pinch Pot Mug or Basket
If your child signs up for a morning workshop and an afternoon workshop for the same week, he/she may stay for the lunch hour for free inbetween sessions!
Class Requirements
- Students should be able to behave appropriately and work independently in a studio art setting with clay tools.

Other Things To Know
Cancellation Policy
This workshop is not refundable; however, it may be exchanged for another summer workshop of equal value (Or difference in price applied) the same summer of 2025. The last week of workshops in July will not be able to be exchanged.
What To Bring
- Please bring a water bottle and optional small snack (such as a granola bar) for our daily 5 minute break.

Meet your Instructors
Allee F.
Allee has a B.F.A degree and is a multi-talented artist starting her third-year teaching with CAC. In her other career, she is an adjunct band instructor for Plainfield High School.
Rachel R.
Rachel is a full-time Art Education student at Herron School of Art at IUPUI. She has experience teaching students of all ages and loves to share the joy of art with young people. Rachel is also a fantastic artist, and we are blessed to have her at CAC.
Parker L.
Parker is a professional illustrator with a BFA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Parker loves working with youth of all ages, and he is excited to help each student learn art techniques that will help their creativity shine!
