Class Experience
What could be more adorable than creating charming Kawaii art? Kawaii, a Japanese style featuring rounded characters with minimalistic features, captures the essence of cuteness.
In this fun-filled camp, students will create two delightful paintings and two clay masterpieces, bringing their own Kawaii creations to life!
If your child signs up for a morning workshop and an afternoon workshop for the same week, he/she may stay for the lunch hour for free in-between sessions!
Class Requirements
- Students must be able to work independently and behave appropriately in a studio art classroom.
- Parents drop-off children.
Sample Class Format
- Please bring a water bottle and optional snack (such as a granola bar) for our daily 5-10 minute break in the middle of the daily session.
Other Things To Know
Cancellation Policy
This workshop is non-refundable; however, it may be exchanged for another summer workshop of equal value the same summer of 2024. The last week of workshops in July will not be able to be exchanged.

Meet your Instructors
Allee F.
Allee has a B.F.A degree and is a multi-talented artist starting her third-year teaching with CAC. In her other career, she is an adjunct band instructor for Plainfield High School.
Rachel R.
Rachel is a full-time Art Education student at Herron School of Art at IUPUI. She has experience teaching students of all ages and loves to share the joy of art with young people. Rachel is also a fantastic artist, and we are blessed to have her at CAC.
Parker L.
Parker is a professional illustrator with a BFA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Parker loves working with youth of all ages, and he is excited to help each student learn art techniques that will help their creativity shine!
