Class Experience
- This class has been developed to introduce young children to beginning skills, and art tools.
- Children will be introduced to basic art vocabulary, and encouraged to acquire new skills through this activity-based studio art class.
- Children will be introduced to clay, printmaking, drawing, painting, design, montage, watercolors, sculpture, stain glass, and more.
- Students will be introduced to color theory and will learn about primary, secondary, cool, and warm colors.
- Children will be given opportunity to explore, create, and achieve.
Class Requirements
- Students should be developmentally capable of working independently and behaving appropriately in a specialized art class setting.
- If your child has a special circumstance, please communicate with us prior to registration.
Sample Class Format
- Tuition is the same each month.
- Each class will have 34 sessions over the school year even though days in each month may vary.

Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable. Tuition is prorated to accomodate months that may vary. If sick or on school break, please schedule to come to a different class.
What To Bring
- Be prepared to get messy. CAC provides shirts to wear over clothes as well as art supplies.
- Please do not come to class sick. Come to a different session.

Meet your Instructors
Rachel R.
Rachel is a full-time Art Education student at Herron School of Art at IUPUI. She has experience teaching students of all ages and loves to share the joy of art with young people. Rachel is also a fantastic artist, and we are blessed to have her at CAC.
Parker L.
Parker is a professional illustrator with a BFA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Parker loves working with youth of all ages, and he is excited to help each student learn art techniques that will help their creativity shine!
