Class Experience
Description of Art 2 Course (Prerequisit Art 1)
Students will build on their knowledge and skills from Art 1. This will be a challenging and rewarding course. Students will continue to build their portfolio.
The Art 2 course will include:
Figure Drawing
Anatomy and bone drawing
India Ink painting
Watercolor landscape
Architecture drawing
Oil Pastel Self-Portrait
Pointalism Project
Clay Design Project

Should your child's schedule change, we will work to shift class sessions.
Class Requirements
- Art 2 students should have completed all major projects in the Art 1 course.
- Students should be capable of working independently and behaving appropriately in a specialized studio art class setting. Good behavior is important.

Meet your Instructors
Allee F.
Allee has a B.F.A degree and is a multi-talented artist starting her third-year teaching with CAC. In her other career, she is an adjunct band instructor for Plainfield High School.
Emma P.
Emma Pickens is her fourth year of study at Herron School of Art at IUPUI, majoring in Art Education. She is a talented artist and loves teaching at Children's Art Classes, Brownsburg. She will be doing her official student teaching toward Indiana Teaching Licensure this spring.
Parker L.
Parker is a professional illustrator with a BFA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Parker loves working with youth of all ages, and he is excited to help each student learn art techniques that will help their creativity shine!
