Class Experience
This is a very fulfilling Advanced Art Class. Art 3 has been designed as a continuation of knowledge and skills building upon the Art 1 and Art 2 curriculum.

Carved Vinyl Printmaking: Art 3 introduces students to advanced concepts in printmaking. They will use an art process to create five color block prints from linoleum. -
Gouache Painting: Students will complete a successful gouache painting using the subject matter of their choice. Students are encouraged to choose a photo that includes at least seven bright colors and at least one reflective object. -
Draw and Paint with "Sketch and Wash": Chosen photograph should elicit emotion and should contain at least 7 values. Landscapes are discouraged. -
Cast Paper Design and Graphic Design are the final two projects.
Class Requirements
- Students must be able to behave appropriately and work independently in an art classroom.
- Students should have finished Art 1 and Art 2 courses.

Homework
Students will have to take some of the work home for completion.

Cancellation Policy
Classes are non-refundable. If sick or on school break, please schedule to come to another class that week or month and limit rescheduling to 3 times a semester. If child is sick, please do not attend.

Marie K.
As a professional educator with over 34 years' experience, I have been a fine arts education advocate for many years. I know the benefits it provides to student development! I am grateful to be an independent franchise owner for Children's Art Classes and offer a high quality, curriculum-based studio art education in the Indianapolis community.
Allee F.
Allee has a B.F.A degree and is a multi-talented artist starting her third-year teaching with CAC. In her other career, she is an adjunct band instructor for Plainfield High School.
Emma P.
Emma Pickens is her fourth year of study at Herron School of Art at IUPUI, majoring in Art Education. She is a talented artist and loves teaching at Children's Art Classes, Brownsburg. She will be doing her official student teaching toward Indiana Teaching Licensure this spring.
Parker L.
Parker is a professional illustrator with a BFA degree from Indiana Wesleyan University. Parker loves working with youth of all ages, and he is excited to help each student learn art techniques that will help their creativity shine!
