DRAMA LAB! - WEEK 3 - Production and Performance!
Cinnabar's "Drama Lab" summer camps offer weeks packed with theatrical action!
This camp provides a fun path to a firm foundation in the core skills of drama and musical theater: ACTING, SINGING, and DANCE!
Every week also has a special focus -- a theater skill that is useful to know and fun to learn!
The Special Focus for Week 3 is Production and Performance!
Students will receive instruction on props, costumes, lights, sound, and more!
The week will be filled with games and exercises designed and led by our experienced Teaching Artists - working performers, educators, and theater designers!
The camp week will culminate in a fun, low-pressure "Share-formance" on Friday during the last hour of camp*. Parents and close friends or family are invited to attend this skills demonstration and celebrate the work and learning that the kids have enjoyed during the week.
*This camp is being offered both as a 3-week block (best price!) and as individual weeks. For families of students attending the entire 3-week camp, we recommend attending the Share-formance on the final Friday, July 18 -- but you can come to all of them if you want!

Sample Class Format
- CAMP HOURS ARE 9am to 2pm, Mon-Fri
- Because we will be rehearsing, building, and presenting together at the end of each week, campers shold plan to attend all 5 days of camp each week.
- CAMP DAY GENERAL SCHEDULE:
- 9am - Drop-off and check-in
- 9:10am Warm-ups and games
- 9:30am Rehearsal/Exercises
- 10:30am Snack
- 11:00am Main Lesson or Activity/Rehearsal
- 12:30pm Lunch
- 1pm Rehearsal/Games
- 2pm End of camp day/Pick-up
What To Bring
- Water bottle
- A nutritious lunch
- A snack for mid-morning break
- Clothes that allow for freedom of movement AND could handle getting paint or glue on them!
- Closed-toed shoes! (Acting, dancing, and various theater crafting projects require safe footwear. Students arriving in sandals or crocks may not be able to participate in all activities! Tennis shoes or flats are preferred.)
- Any emergency medication (inhalers, epi-pens, etc.), delivered in gallon ziplock bag and clearly labeled with your child's name.
