DRAMA LAB! Week 2: Combat, Dance, and Makeup!

Cinnabar's "Drama Lab" summer camps offer weeks packed with theatrical action!

This camp provides a fun path to a firm foundation in the core skills of drama and musical theater: ACTING, SINGING, and DANCE! 

Every week also has a number of special focus skills -- elements of theater that are useful to know and fun to learn!

The Special Focus Skills for Week 2 are Stage Combat, Dance, and Makeup! 

Actors will receive instruction in safe staged combat, proper care and handling of prop weapons, dance and fight choreography, and theatrical makeup.

The week will be filled with games and exercises designed and led by our experienced Teaching Artists - working performers, educators, and actors engaged in ongoing theatrical studies at university.

The camp week will culminate in a fun, low-pressure "Share-formance" on Friday during the last hour of camp*.  Parents and close friends or family are invited to attend this skills demonstration and celebrate the work and learning that the kids have enjoyed during the week.

*This camp is being offered both as a 3-week block (best price!) and as individual weeks.  For families of students attending the entire 3-week camp, we recommend attending the Share-formance on the final Friday, July 18 -- but you can come to all of them if you want!
