Class Experience

Unleash your creativity in our 3D Sculpture for Beginners course, designed for teens eager to dive into the fascinating world of sculpture.  This class offers an engaging, hands-on experience exploring a variety of materials, techniques, and artistic perspectives. We'll work with cardboard and in clay, learning various techniques and uses. Join us and discover how sculpture challenges not only the spaces it occupies but also your perspective as an artist.

Please note, this is NOT a ceramics class - we do not have a kiln/associated infrastructure at the studio.

Sample Class Format

  • Cardboard: Recreate an image into three dimensions
  • Cardboard: Transcribe a master's artwork
  • Cardboard: Create a maquette of a public sculpture, focusing on human form
  • Clay: Assess mass and form
  • Clay: Build a self-portrait in 3D
