Class Experience
Join Crystal Theatre for an exciting summer camp production of Disney’s classic Aladdin, Kidz!
(Music by Alan Menken, Lyrics by Howard Ashman, Tim Rice and Chad Beguelin
Book by Chad Beguelin. Based on the Disney film written by Ron Clements, John Musker, Ted Elliott & Terry Rossio and directed & produced by John Musker & Ron Clements.)
Directed by Alexandrea Kemeny, Musical Direction by Cheryl Kemeny, Choreography by Sally Szabo-Lombardo. Perfect for young actors, this production will not only develop your acting skills and comic talent but will stretch your vocal range and increase your dancing prowess. Taught by veteran artist-teachers, this camp also includes a multi-arts dimension with watercolor classes daily. All levels welcome! SHOWS: SATURDAY, JUNE 28 @ 12 noon & 4:00 PM
Class Requirements
- All levels welcome. No experience necessary.
- Students are required to provide their own footwear--black ballet or jazz shoes to be worn in class each day
- Please bring a lunch, snack and water bottle each day
- An old oversized shirt to wear as an art smock when painting "al fresco" to avoid getting paint on your clothes if you are concerned.
Sample Class Format
- 15 minutes vocal warm-ups
- daily 30 minute watercolor painting class
- daily 30 minute dance practice
- Class will be divided into 2 separate casts. Let us know if you want to be in the same cast with dertain people the first day so we cast accordingly
