Design Hive offers unique, hands-on birthday parties in our studio, perfect for creative kids. Guests can enjoy art, design, and maker activities led by our engaging instructors. Our parties foster creativity and collaboration in a fun, family-friendly environment.

About our Parties

Ages
Our birthday celebrations are for kids ages 8 and up. (Birthday child turning 8)
-guests ages 7 and under must have an active, participating adult

Pricing
$1250 for up to 16 guests (including birthday child), 20 total with adults

Party Times
Guests can enjoy 90 minutes of party time.
We offer 4 slots during the weekend:
Saturday, 11:00-12:30, 2:00-3:30
Sunday, 11:00-12:30, 2:00-3:30

Hosts may arrive 20 minutes prior to start time. We expect all guests to depart at the end time (12:30 or 3:30). Host family can use an additional 15 minutes to load out. Additional fees will be assessed for early arrival or late departure. We cannot add additional party time day-of. Additional time must be added when deposit is made.

Party Schedule:
10:40- Host family arrives for set up
11:00-11:15 -Guests arrive
11:15-12:00 - Craft/Activity
12:20 - Food/Snacks & Cake
12:20-12:30 -Families depart, clean up
12:30-12:45 - Host family loads out, departs

Decorations
-We cover our tables with recycled kraft paper. You are welcome to bring additional table coverings or table decorations.
-We do not allow any items to be affixed to or hung from our walls
-No piñatas or fog machines
-Families are welcome to play a custom playlist. Devices must be able to AirPlay through Apple TV. No flash drives

Food
You are welcome to bring in outside food or snacks.
-Since we do not have a kitchen, all food should be ready to serve (sandwiches, bagels, pizza, fruit, snacks in bags)
-Please do not bring any trays that require sterno, hot plates, etc.
-No cakes that require refrigeration (ice cream cakes, ice cream sandwiches, etc)
-We cannot accept delivery for catering. We encourage families to bring food with them.

Reserving Your Party Date and Time
-Once you submit your party request, a member of our ownership will contact you via email to confirm a date and time. A non-refundable $250 fee is due at that time to guarantee your preferred time and date.

-The balance is due 10 business days from the party date. Once the balance is paid, it is not refundable or available as credit. A past due balance will incur a 20% late charge. Once the balance is paid, changes to the party activity cannot be accommodated.

-Additional time can be added on during the reservation process.
