Hi, I’m Shanda! Head teacher of Build it and Homestead Skills for the 2024-2025 school year. This is my third year here, some students know me as Mrs. Case. I love sharing my love for building, woodworking, crafting, farm, garden, nature, homesteading skills, cooking, life skills, safety and everything in between. More about me, I’m a mom of four. We’re a sports family and local business owners.

I am a mom to two young kiddos. I love having fun with young people, learning through games, and being able to witness little faces lighting up with excitement. My goal is to instill a love of learning and to make learning fun for everyone.

I'm a homeschooling mother of two who has spent many years in informal education. I've created science, history, culture, art and writing activities at the Duke Energy Children's Museum, the Virginia Air and Space Museum, local history museums, and most recently Vacaville's Imagine That.

I am a dedicated mother, an experienced homeschool educator, and a professional photographer. I feel most fulfilled when I am inspiring personal growth, creating lasting smiles, and instilling confidence in the children and adults I work alongside.

I'm a homeschooling mom of 16 years to 6 crazy kids. Ages from adult to 10yrs. I' m involved in our local church as a sunday school teacher, youth leader, worship team and more. My hobbies are baking, cooking, learning to garden, crocheting, reading, hiking, learning and teaching.
