Did you know that at 5, a child's creativity is at 98% but then they enter the school system and their creativity rapidly decreases and by age 10, a childs creativity has dropped to a mere 15%.  And the Future of Jobs 2025 report by World Economic Forum, states 70% of employers say Creativity is a critical skill  and a must have of thinking that is needed to survive the uncertainity of our future .  

It's imperative to invest in your child's future, because the schools are not fostering creatitvity, problem solving and adapatability to a level  that will meet the skills in demand of tomorrow.  Free Your Mind offers creative learning classes  to help fill the gaps of what the school's are not teaching.  

Creative Makers is the perfect class for middle school makers who love to explore art beyond just drawing and painting! This class introduces the creative process, allowing children to experience the joy of creating while fostering mindfulness—which improves mental well-being, reduces stress and enhances overall happiness.  This engaging class enriches lives in many ways but most importantly it teaches your child the skills they need for a successful future..

Students will:

🖌️Work along side with Ashley as she takes a project from start to finish, looking for materials f which your child will be making the same, learning how to think creatively, working thru the process together to make meaningful wallart

🐚 Use seashells to design imaginative people, landscapes, and objects

♻️ Craft unique art and learn how to create resourcefully by repurposing materials—like using random objects found to create repurposed scrap metal or wooden robots and other figurines and sculptures

🖌️Create one of a kind wall art using natural materials.

This class encourages children to think outside the box while building problem-solving and critical thinking skills—which are essential traits of future innovators and leaders. Through hands-on projects,  makers will learn life transforming skills such as being mindful and present.  Of which studies have proven people who live in the moment tend to be happier, calmer and more relaxed, and appreciative.  Invest in your child to develop the skills that led them to a successful future while exploring creativity and the therapeutic benefits of making art, helping them feel more present, confident, and inspired.

****This class meets each week at the same day and time for 9 weeks. Make up absences are limited to 3 and are available subject to seat availability.

****Your child will benefit the most, the more he/she attends. Transformation occurs over time and gets stronger the more they practice mindfulness while also exercising creative thinking, adaptability and problem solving skills .
