Class Experience

This course provides an engaging, hands-on introduction to the world of veterinary care for a variety of animals. In four unique units, students will explore the roles veterinarians play in caring for pets, zoo animals, farm animals, and animals within a community. Each week, students will grow in their understanding of animal health, welfare, and medical care, giving students an inside look at different environments where veterinary professionals work.


This course offers a comprehensive journey through different fields of veterinary medicine, allowing students to gain a well-rounded understanding of the profession and the responsibilities of those who care for animals. Whether they’re passionate about pets, wildlife, or farm animals, this course will ignite students in all aspects of veterinary science!
