Students will have an opportunity to express their creativity by focusing on projects of their choice. They will be given instruction on the potter's wheel along with hand-building and sculptural techniques. Classes meet for 1-1/2 hours. Each participant works on a project from their own imagination (we have exclusive reference materials to serve as their "muse" if needed!). Each student works at their own pace. Instructors assist in learning pottery wheel throwing, handbuilding, sculpting, under glazing (painting), clear glazing and dip glazing. A high ratio of instructors to students insures personal attention as the children explore their creativity and work toward project completion.
