A Practice of Oil Painting: From Figure to Vision
Join Lander Burton for a transformative 12-week journey into the world of oil painting. This extended semester provides an in-depth exploration of basic oil painting techniques, focusing on three captivating projects:

Painting from the Figure Model: Develop confidence and skill while capturing the human form. -
Individual Still Life: Learn to bring everyday objects to life with depth and emotion. -
Composition Through Collage: Explore innovative ways to design unique and compelling works of art.
With an emphasis on color theory and cultivating your own artistic voice, this class offers a balance of technical mastery and creative exploration. Drawing inspiration from art historical references and hands-on practice, you’ll gain the tools to create confident, expressive oil paintings.
Whether you're new to oils or looking to refine your craft, this class is designed to ignite your creativity and help you see the world through a painter's lens.

Other Things To Know
Refunds are given up to one week prior to class, unless a class is cancelled due to enrollment. You may transfer your registration fee to another class if the cancellation is made within 48 hours of the class start date/time.

- All supplies, paint, paper, etc for use in the classroom are provided
- remember to bring water, snacks, and any other personal items that help you have a successful class experience.
