Class Experience
Turn old, unwanted, or broken jewelry into something new and wonderful in this one day workshop. Students will learn a few jewelry making basics before being set loose to forage through a collection of recycled jewelry.
Students are encouraged to bring in any unwanted or broken jewelry that they might want to use in their creations.

Meet your Instructor
Lissie H.
Lissie is one of LAAC's Program Assistants. She began her career in Texas as an art teacher in the public schools after receiving her BFA in Visual Arts Studies with a Minor in Education. In her 16 years in Los Alamos she has worked at LANB, Little Forest, and Family Strengths Network.
Lissie loves art in all forms and uses tons of different media in her own work. Her favorite classes to teach focus heavily on the process of creating.
