Afternoon Art Camp for 1st-6th Graders

Afternoons filled with art! What could be better? If your student is spending the mornings at STEAM Lab (or anywhere else), afternoons at the Art Center are a perfect match.

Join us for Afternoon Art Camp during the unexpected week of summer for Pinon & Chamisa. Students will create multiple art projects during this fun filled camp. Campers will have a chance to paint, experiment with air dry clay, and they might even learn to sew.

Recess, snack breaks, and playtime breaks will be taken throughout the afternoon. Be sure to send your student with closed toe shoes, snacks for the day as well as a water bottle.

Camp Schedule

1pm - Drop off time. Kids from STEAM Lab will be walked over to the Art Center at this time

1:15-2:45 - Art projects

2:45-3 - Recess & snacks on lawn

3-4:30 - Art projects & play time (we have a variety of construction toys for kids to create with after projects are finished or if they need a change)

4:30-6 - Outdoor play time (weather permitting) (we have an assortment of outdoor toys that we bring to the lawn along with lots of sidewalk chalk, bubbles, and sometimes we even make nature art). 

Pick up time - Any time between 4:30 and 6pm
