Class Experience
Located in the Rivertown District of Downtown Detroit, the CODE313 S.T.E.A.M. eXperience Center is a field trip destination for schools and organizations that engages scholars in grades 3–12 in hands-on, inquiry-based science, technology, engineering, arts, and math activities that stimulate thought and engage participants while bringing classroom concepts to life.
CODE313 S.T.E.A.M. Slam Field Trip eXperiences can be scheduled Tuesday through Friday from 10am - 1pm (lunch will be provided) and start at $1,500 per trip.
Notes
Please note that when reserving a date for a S.T.E.A.M. Slam Field Trip S.T.E.A.M. eXperience there will be zero due at the time of check out. Any fees related to the field trip will be invoiced and paid per the terms of the contract.
Other Things To Know
Teachers and chaperones are encouraged to participate in S.T.E.A.M. activities with their scholars.

I love the shared memory techniques some of my fellow students have offered.
Improvements:
The speed of the information is too fast for quite a few of us adult learners. Too much information at one time, then independent studying before the next session is problematic. Most of us have full time jobs and a heavy outside obligations that makes retention and full understanding an issue. Also when a younger male student has failed the test two times and continues to proclaim it every week, it makes me terrified to take the actual Part 107 Pilot Exam. This is embedded in my head now.

I loved Mr. Sal’s approach with the class. My son took immediately to the structure of the sessions and always had something to share with me about what they learned during class time. He was challenged to code and create with the tools he was learning in the class.
Improvements:
N/A. Truly enjoying the experience of watching my son learn and enjoy it with this program. Mr. Sal was an awesome instructor.

Punctuality and Preparedness: The event was exceptionally well-organized. The staff arrived on time and were fully prepared, which made the entire process seamless for us. Extended Sessions: Consider offering longer sessions for certain activities. This would allow students to delve deeper into the topics and gain a more comprehensive understanding. Pre-Event Materials: Providing pre-event materials or resources could help students prepare and get even more out of the experience. Feedback Opportunities: Implementing a system for real-time feedback for students during the event could help tailor the experience to the needs and interests of the students.
