Class Experience

Classes available to choose from: 5:05, 6:05, & 6:55 Monday through Thursday (possibly Friday). Choose 2 days and time during check out. The Sports Performance Program is geared for the beginning to advanced and elite athlete who is looking to increase strength, speed, power, jump ability, explosiveness, and flexibility. Our experienced staff will focus on sound functional movement patterns and injury prevention. This class will also benefit our growing athletes by increasing bone density and ligament strength and boosting their self-confidence. The benefits are innumerable! Join TODAY! Classes are non-refundable after 1-1-2025. Gwen will review any "extenuating circumstances" requests and if granted, you will be charged for 1 additional month. No refunds for missed classes. Missed classes can be made up.

My daughter came out of the initial session pumped up about the benefits she’ll see after continuing with the program. She clearly felt good! Thank you!

Improvements:

Being an initial session it would’ve been helpful to hear what the goals are for each session, or how they approach their sessions. Is it a broad strengthening approach, or do they focus on aspects of the body that the client identifies (e.g., arms, legs, core, or all of the above). I should’ve asked a few questions too.

About HealthWest Physical Therapy, Inc.

At HealthWest Physical Therapy, we are dedicated to helping athletes of all levels reach their optimum level of physical performance. Sports Performance has been a passion of Gwen’s since she played Division I Volleyball for the University of Missouri. As she was first introduced to the weight room in college, she really began to understand the positive impact it had on her game. Since then, she has long thought how much that empowered her, and therefore wants to impact young athletes to get a head start with this type of training. The benefits are innumerable – strength, power, endurance, jump ability, speed, explosiveness, flexibility and injury prevention. From a health standpoint, it also benefits our growing generations by increasing bone density and ligament strength, boosting their personal confidence, and it teaches functional movement at a young age.
