Class Experience
Calling all Sprouts & Sprites!
Children ages 2 - 5 years only.
Our developing toddlers will take the first steps into becoming social butterflies, learning to use and expand their imagination as they explore dramatic play themes, designed to stimulate collaborative, social play. While our preschoolers will begin to take their imagination play to the next level, not just partaking in the play, but LEADING it!
Our younger aspiring social butterflies (Sprouts) will benefit from the examples set by role models in the older peer group, learning to model imaginative concepts and activities, while older friends (Sprites) will benefit from developing empathy and patience in playing with children from younger peer groups while developing leadership skills.
The children will use and expand their imaginations and social skills as they explore dramatic play themes. Themes change bi-weekly to create new experiences.
* This class can also be an amazing prep program for anticipating a new sibling's arrival!
* Socks are required, no shoes or bare feet allowed for sanitary reasons.
Other Things To Know
At Grasshopper Grove we provide room for children to grow and parents to relax, work, or socialize, but we do require parents to be responsible for and to safely supervise their children during play activities from a safe distance.

My grandkids absolutely loved Grasshopper Grove! We loved the quality of all of the play furniture, etc. The costumes were clean & in good condition. We liked how there were containers to put toys in if they had been put in a kid's mouth (so that the toys could be cleaned). There was a great variety of play places (like the kitchen, laundry room, diner, ice cream cart, etc). You could tell that a lot of thought had gone into the entire space!
Improvements:
I can't think of any way in which it could be improved!

Fun little areas for the kids to play. My son loved the bakery and grocery store the most.
Improvements:
We arrived early to the class along with many other parents and they were 15 minutes late to letting us in. One parent even called to try and get ahold of someone. I’m not sure all the toys worked. We would push buttons and expect a sound of movement and it didn’t happen. I don’t know if it just needed new batteries or if it just wasn’t supposed to do anything. The area I am thinking of is the little soda machine by the grocery store.

Lots of different stations, all well stocked! My daughter is 2.5yrs old and loved it! Everything was very clean and the employee there was periodically going around organizing the stations and putting things back where they belonged.
