Class Experience
In the Musical Theatre classes at NY Kids Club, children 3-5 years old use acting, dancing, singing, and storytelling to immerse themselves in another place or time. This program exposes students to a variety of musical theater genres, they learn music terminology and about theater concepts including composers & lyricists, choreography, costumes, props, and technical design along with the fundamentals of stage etiquette and directions. These fun and engaging classes are led by experienced and enthusiastic educators who will teach the students a few pieces from well-renowned musicals, which they will perform for their families and friends at the end of the semester. This program develops confidence and performance skills and welcomes children into a non competitive environment where they can create, collaborate and express themselves.
Other Things To Know
Students are entitled to a full refund, less a $50 cancellation fee and the cost of classes that have taken place, prior to the end of the second (Summer) or third (Fall & Winter/Spring) week of the semester. Full policy can be found here.
