In this combination program, our young heroes get the best of both worlds - indoors and out! Play our beloved outdoors roleplaying game, Fantasy Frontier, and then wrap up the session with a session of Magic: The Gathering - the trading card game that started it all.
ABOUT FANTASY FRONTIER
Pick up your swords and venture forth into an unparalleled fantasy realm! Fantasy Frontier is NY Play’s unique live-action roleplaying (LARP) game that combines storytelling and physical movement - everything your young adventurer needs! Your hero’s local park will become a magical world filled with mystery, peril, and hidden treasure! Our students dictate the story - their choices and the friends they make along the way can decide the battle between good and evil!
ABOUT MAGIC: THE GATHERING
Indulge in a fantasy world of Planewalkers, Pirates, Merfolk, Dragons, and more! Magic: The Gathering is the original trading card game that combines imagination with strategy, quick-wittedness, and luck. Your little one won’t want to stop after mastering this intricate card game, and the possibilities and outcomes are endless. We can’t wait to introduce you to this classic every Tuesday at Frontier Games!
Class Requirements
- Basic reading proficiency at least 2nd grade level required
Sample Class Format
- School Pickup
- Homework & Snack (snack is not provided)
- Fantasy Frontier Missions or Magic the Gathering
- End of Day Reflection
Other Things To Know
A full refund is available prior to the start of the 2nd class. After this class, cancellations can be given a refund of 50% of the class' remaining value, given as a sawyer credit.

It was great. Both D&D leaders were energetic and good at moving with all the kids as they went on their adventure. Lots of happy kids and hopefully some newly made D&D fans.

Jett had a great time playing D&D. She’s hooked and wants to come on Thursdays to learn more about it!
Improvements:
When we arrived for drop off, it didn’t seem like the staff knew we were coming. (It was a scheduled event through our school.) They quickly printed a list and got us checked in though.
