We are NOT able to offer walking pickup for all neighborhood schools on all days. If your school is not listed at check-out, then we cannot guarantee walking pickup! On Wednesdays, our students have double the fun! Get the best of both worlds, both indoors and out, with our favorite outdoor game Fantasy Frontier, and a Pokemon session afterward!
ABOUT FANTASY FRONTIER
Pick up your swords and venture forth into an unparalleled fantasy realm! Fantasy Frontier is NY Play’s unique live-action role-playing (LARP) game that combines storytelling and physical movement - everything your young adventurer needs! Your hero’s local park will become a magical world filled with mystery, peril, and hidden treasure! Our students dictate the story - their choices and the friends they make along the way can decide the battle between good and evil!
ABOUT POKEMON
Gotta catch ‘em all! The franchise that changed the game, Pokemon, is coming to NY Plays once again. Our young Pokemon trainers will take off on an adventure via trading cards, battling it out at Frontier Games every Wednesday. We can’t wait to build up the strongest teams and the strongest friendships alongside this beloved classic.
Class Requirements
- Basic reading proficiency at least 2nd grade level required

Other Things To Know
A full refund is available prior to the start of the 2nd class. After this class, cancellations can be given a refund of 50% of the class' remaining value, given as a sawyer credit.

It was great. Both D&D leaders were energetic and good at moving with all the kids as they went on their adventure. Lots of happy kids and hopefully some newly made D&D fans.

Jett had a great time playing D&D. She’s hooked and wants to come on Thursdays to learn more about it!
Improvements:
When we arrived for drop off, it didn’t seem like the staff knew we were coming. (It was a scheduled event through our school.) They quickly printed a list and got us checked in though.

My son loves the interaction, the game play, the story lines… He plays at school, but this has been a great supplement during the school year and a replacement during the summer. It helps him to exercise his imagination and creativity.
Improvements:
Nothing. We will continue in the fall, too, I believe.
