Class Experience
Our one-of-a-kind Live Action Role Playing (LARP) game combines the storytelling aspect of role-playing games with the physical engagement of sports. The result is a game where your child’s local park becomes a fantasy world filled with adventures, peril, and treasure! Player choices are highly influential—The choices and friends the students make along the way can decide the battle between good and evil!
As a special offering for our older participants, our Teen Fantasy Frontier class offers a behind the scenes look at the game.
Students will:
- Participate in the same game they know and love!
- Help demonstrate the game to new players!
- Playtest and help create new elements of the game!
- Learn how to play a monster and lead a mission!

Jett had a great time playing D&D. She’s hooked and wants to come on Thursdays to learn more about it!
Improvements:
When we arrived for drop off, it didn’t seem like the staff knew we were coming. (It was a scheduled event through our school.) They quickly printed a list and got us checked in though.

Loved:
My son loves the interaction, the game play, the story lines… He plays at school, but this has been a great supplement during the school year and a replacement during the summer. It helps him to exercise his imagination and creativity.
Improvements:
Nothing. We will continue in the fall, too, I believe.

My son looves NYSOP Fantasy Frontier. I love that he is active and gets outside and has fun. It is one of the few things that he loves to do off-screen. The staff are wonderful- so calm yet on top of it. They are great at conflict resolution, so that even a pack of rowdy kids wielding foam swords are safe and follow the rules. The creator always takes the kids’ feedback into account in structuring the games and it has continued to get even better.
