STEM Juniors

This program for children 24-36 months introduces exciting age appropriate math, science, and engineering activities to young students through hands on experiments, projects, songs, games, and treasure hunts. A new theme is introduced weekly ranging from exploring the four seasons to exploring different habitats. Fundamental math skills such as numbers, shapes, patterns, sorting are taught each week through games, projects, and “Math Music.” Beginning reasoning skills will be developed during STEM Exploration and practiced during our science investigation unit. STEM Juniors will love ending their class with our exciting STEM adventure where different scientific and mathematical concepts are explored in creative and physical ways. At the end of class, the instructor will propose a creative field guide activity to the adults and students, bridging the gap between school and home. Our enthusiastic teachers support each learner, challenging them appropriately and fostering their self confidence, love of learning, fine motor skills, problem solving skills, spatial awareness, hand-eye coordination and language. Our goal is that our STEM students will feel confident in a classroom learning environment and have a love of STEM all of their lives.
