STEM I

This program for children 2.5-3.5 introduces exciting age appropriate math, science, and engineering activities through hands on experiments, projects, songs, games, and engineering challenges. Fundamental math skills such as numbers, shapes, patterns, sorting, and ordering are taught each week. Beginning reasoning skills will be developed during STEM Exploration and practiced during our science investigation unit. STEM I students will love ending their class with our exciting engineering fairytale activity which brings classic fairy tales and engineering together, encouraging active listening, problem solving, and communication skills. At the end of class, the instructor will propose a creative field guide activity to the students, bridging the gap between school and home.
