Class Experience
Have a digital camera you don't know how to use? Want to brush up on your photography skills? Join photographer Kaitlyn McQuaid for "First Exposure," a 4-week digital photography workshop covering the foundations of photography. This workshop will run for 2 hours each week and we'll cover one element of photography in-depth including Aperture, ISO, Shutter Speed, Lighting, and Composition. We'll practice with in-class, hands-on exercises, and tips for capturing moments on your own outside of class.

You will receive an email 1 week before class starts with additional information.
Class Requirements
- A digital DSLR camera is strongly recommended but if you only have a sophisticated point and shoot, we are happy to have you as well. Just be mindful that some of the point and shoots do not always let you adjust as many settings. With this in mind, please check in with us if you have something different so our Instructor can see what kind of digital camera you have before the workshop starts.
Other Things To Know
Due to the small size of our classes and the planning that needs to take place, we are not able to issue refunds for missed classes.
For classes with a waitlist, if we are able to fill your spot, we are happy to issue a refund.
Covid-19 Precautions
Masks are optional when attending any of our indoor classes or events. ArtFarm reserves the right to update our mask policy at anytime, notice will be given in advance if anything changes.

Loved:
I learned so much in this photography class. Kaitlyn is a great teacher, teaching us so much about our cameras and photo decision-making. I had to miss the last class but I feel I got my money's worth in three!
Improvements:
Nothing except perhaps having a makeup class option. I understand the challenges of that, however.
