Tiny SENSations with Miss Elli

Tiny Sensations is a 40 minute sensory development class designed to stimulate baby’s various senses – touching, feeling, seeing and hearing. Each activity is carefully designed to address these different senses and to stimulate the pattern of learning and exploring. Tiny Sensations provides a safe environment for parents and/or caregivers and babies to bond through creative play, baby signing and story time, tummy time activities and music.
Benefits of a sensory-based class like Tiny Sensations:
- Language development: baby signing and story time will aide your baby’s communication and speech development
- Brain development: during the first 3 months of an infant’s life, their brain synapses multiply more than 20 times; these exercises will help strengthen and stimulate brain growth
- Physical development: tummy time activities encourage babies to use their core muscles and promote their motor skills
Each class will have a slightly different set of activities to encourage new sensory experiences. Some of the activities include reaching, grasping and learning about colors/shapes during tummy time; spatial/creative activities like building blocks; baby signing and story time; exploring musical instruments; encouraging movement during music time.

All materials used during class will be sanitized thoroughly.

Please bring the following to Tiny Sensations class:
- Teether
- Pacifier (if needed)
- Thick (outdoor) blanket

You must register for this class in advance. Space is limited to 10 people per class and given the nature of the age for this class we need to ensure appropriate space is given to each parent and their baby.
