Class Experience
Art & Play Afterschool is an inclusive space designed to give neurodivergent children and their neurotypical peers a space to create, relax and PLAY! A diverse set of open play and making experiences will be available. Children will have the option to engage freely, socially, or independently in our play and sensory invitations and/ or make alongside an instructor at the table. Each week will offer a new project experience, but formal instruction will take a back seat to CHOICE!

Sample Class Format
- This class is a drop off, open- studio style experience. Children will have the choice to work on a project, but it is not required.
Other Things To Know
Oh! Canary credit is available in full in the case of a cancellation up to 30 days prior to class start date and non refundable after that time. Please send in ALL class cancellation and make up requests VIA EMAIL to hello@ohcanary.com.

This is the highlight of my son's week. It's the perfect mix of structure and freedom, solo exploration and group activities, the new and the familiar. Everyone in that building is loving, compassionate, calm and competent. My sensitive, deeply feeling child is held with the utmost respect and it allows his vibrant creativity to flourish. Thank you!

Loved:
Loved the diversity of projects but that the students were able to express themselves freely through their pieces. My daughter had a great time in this class and Carrie and Daisy were wonderful!

Our twin 5 year olds love to explore art each week and look forward to every class! After school, it’s amazing to be able to create art in a exploratory way and to be able to play while making art.

It could be cool to know the themes ahead of class to get them excited but not necessary.
