Class Experience
Robofun uses an advanced Lego robotics system called Spike to teach 1st-2nd graders about lego robotics. Spike combines colorful Lego building, computer hardware with an effective drag and drop coding language based on Scratch to engage students through playful learning activities to solve complex problems and think critically, whatever level they might be at. Spike is a great tool for students to learn STEAM. Robofun has its own series of unique blueprints and activities based in Spike to ensure our students are having fun and developing essential skills for their growth and development.

Loved:
Teaches children about robotics. Overall classes are good.
Improvements:
If possible, would appreciate, if some pics/ videos could be sent about activities, with a brief explanation, of what the children are working on. We are also looking for greater focus from our little one, on the activity, so any feedback on her progress will help. as she is easily distracted. Finally, if possible, having the same teachers may be helpful.

About Robofun
RoboFun offers dynamic workshops for children using cutting edge technologies. Children ages 3 – 12 (Pre-K to 6th grade) come to our studio on 102nd Street and Broadway in Manhattan to build and program robots, design and construct video games and make stop-motion animations. Your child will learn about engineering, coding, and creative thinking. Our work is based on children’s innate passion and curiosity and our workshops allow children to become makers and designers. We run creative after-school programs and train teachers in over 100 schools in the New York City area.
