Class Experience
Blast off into a world of discovery with our Supernova Knights! This program introduces the basics of chess alongside engaging STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math) topics. Perfectly tailored for young, curious minds, Supernova Knights is designed to be both fun and educational.
In each session, children will:

Develop Key Skills: Through hands-on activities, kids will build foundational skills in logic, problem-solving, and creative thinking. -
Enjoy Interactive Play: Our activities incorporate storytelling, puzzles, and hands-on experiments that are carefully structured to hold young learners’ attention while encouraging exploration and discovery. -
Build Confidence and Social Skills: Small group sizes and a supportive environment help children grow their self-confidence, practice patience, and develop social skills by working with peers. -
Learn through Playful Challenges: Each week includes themed challenges where children get to “play” chess on oversized boards, build simple machines, and explore fun concepts like magnetism and balance. -
Parent-Friendly Updates: After each session, parents receive a brief update highlighting what the kids learned, how they participated, and suggestions for reinforcing these topics at home.
Class Requirements

- Welcome and Warm-Up (10 minutes)
- Introduction to the Day’s Theme (5 minutes)
- Hands-On Discovery Activity (20 minutes)
- Chess Play and Mini-Lessons (15 minutes)
- Guided Group Challenge (10 minutes)
- Reflection and Cool-Down (5 minutes)

Other Things To Know
Adults participate by remaining at the center during sessions and guiding their younger child.
