Class Experience
Get ready for a summer of fun, friends and creativity with US (Unicoi Studio)! This summer, campers will be exploring Flora and Fauna through their daily art projects! Each week, our young artists will explore a new habitat and the animals and plants they would find when visiting there! Travel to Fantasy and PreHistoric worlds where artist will create art depicting Wolly Mammoths or Mermaids, or stay a little closer to home and explore the familar landscape of Forests and Farms where they will create Owls and Roosters and much more! Campers will enjoy a mix of toys and open crafts during free play that will be rotated out every few days. Each day, campers will participate in 1-2 art projects (one in the morning session and one in the afternoon session) led by our professional artist instructors! Campers will also enjoy the nice summer weather on our daily trips to the park!
Best of all is our flexible schedule designed to work with your busy schedule! Register for a half-day, full day, or even a full week at a time!
Notes
REGISTERING LATE? Unicoi allows late sign ups and the sessions are prorated if you miss a few classes. We do request that all orders be in before 3pm THE DAY BEFORE you plan to attend or earlier to avoid a $10 late fee per student which will be automatically added to your order. This request is so that we have adequate time to prepare materials and inform instructors of your request to join the class.
Class Requirements
- Please note that while we have had some flexibility in the years since the pandemic, we will be returning to enforcing age limits this summer. Thank you for your understanding.
Sample Class Format
- CAMP SCHEDULE
- Morning Camp | 9:00am-1:00pm | AGES 5-12
- 9-10:00am: FREE TIME -toys, games, and crafts
- 10-11:00am: ART CLASS 1 (60 min) - Theme: FLORA AND FAUNA
- 11-12:00pm: LUNCH –Bring a lunch. NO NUTS (Please send your child with a nut free lunch, ice pack, water bottle for all morning camp days.)
- 12-1:00pm: PARK –GAMES if weather requires staying indoors
- Afternoon Camp - if you also register for afternoon camp from 1:30 to 4 PM. You will automatically be enrolled in the full day camp. The 1/2 hour in between morning, and afternoon camp is included, snack will be provided for full day campers.

Other Things To Know
Please notify Unicoi by email or phone/voicemail at least 12 hours ahead of class you need to cancel. No refunds will be given but credit can be used for a future class or camp.
No credits if notification not recieve 12hr ahead of class.

About Unicoi Art Studio
We specialize in drawing out the imagination! Unicoi Art Studio has been providing exceptional art activities for kids in Chicago since 1999. We were voted the best art classes in the city for 2008 and 2009, by the parents of Chicago (Nickelodeon’s Parents Picks Award). Unicoi’s mission is to “draw” out the imagination in every child, with projects designed to be informative, engaging and fun for children ages 3-15.
