Class Experience
Get ready for fun, friends and creativity with US (Unicoi Studio). Afternoon camp is a relaxing art camp perfect for younger kids, those looking to get out of the house for a few hours or for the parent that needs some time to run errands kid free! Campers will have free time filled with toys and open crafts to play and create. Activites will be rotated out every few days. Campers will also have a 1-hour art project led by our professional artist instructors! Get ready for a summer of fun with Unicoi!
Afternoon camp does not follow a specified theme but rather will explore a wide range of subjects and materials!
Notes
REGISTERING LATE? Unicoi allows late sign ups and the sessions are prorated if you miss a few classes. We do request that all orders be in before 3pm THE DAY BEFORE you plan to attend or earlier to avoid a $10 late fee per student which will be automatically added to your order. This request is so that we have adequate time to prepare materials and inform instructors of your request to join the class.
Sample Class Format
- CAMP SCHEDULE Afternoon Camp | 1:30-4:00 | AGES 4-12
- FREE TIME -toys, games and crafts
- ART CLASS 2 (60 min )- Rotating medium and subject matter art project.
- FREE TIME -toys, games, and crafts
- MORNING CAMP - if you also register for morning camp from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM. You will automatically be enrolled in the full day camp. The 1/2 hour in between morning, and afternoon camp is included, snack will be provided for full day campers.
Other Things To Know
Please notify Unicoi by email or phone/voicemail at least 12 hours ahead of class you need to cancel. No refunds will be given but credit can be used for a future class or camp.
No credits if notification not recieve 12hr ahead of class.
What To Bring
- Water bottle
- Snack (Nut Free) if your camper wil get hungry during their time with us.

Making it clear that it was mostly younger kids, because I'm 12 and I was the only one, everyone else was under 10 - Noah 12 yo who attended

About Unicoi Art Studio
We specialize in drawing out the imagination! Unicoi Art Studio has been providing exceptional art activities for kids in Chicago since 1999. We were voted the best art classes in the city for 2008 and 2009, by the parents of Chicago (Nickelodeon’s Parents Picks Award). Unicoi’s mission is to “draw” out the imagination in every child, with projects designed to be informative, engaging and fun for children ages 3-15. We use premium quality artist materials, so at a young age the students experience rich colors, unusual textures and a variety of unique materials. Our teaching philosophy is for children to be able to use their creativity to explore the subjects that interest them and for our teachers to provide the safe and structured environment to support their exploration.
