Class Experience
The Goethe-Zertifikat A2: Fit in Deutsch is a German exam for children and young people between 10 and 16 years of age. It certifies that candidates have acquired basic language skills and corresponds to the second level (A2) on the six-level scale of competence laid down in the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR).
PASSING THE EXAM DEMONSTRATES THAT YOU CAN ...
-ask and reply to simple questions as well as make and respond to requests,
-write about yourself and others using simple expressions and sentences,
-understand conversations and texts about familiar topics.

The effort Frau Jackson puts into preparing her classes. The content is wonderful. She has great teaching skills and is so patient and caring with the kids

It wasn't super professional which allowed it to have a chill non anxious environment. We also got to talk amongst one another and it was fun.

Birgitt taught us how to make a variety of different authentic German dishes. She was patient and took her time to make sure everyone was successful and enjoyed their food.

The end result was delicious!! I can't wait for the Schnitzel class.
Improvements:
Getting the ingredients prep instructions a few days ahead of class would have been very helpful so the class time would be spent assembling ingredients not cutting & chopping and assembling -- we were scrambling to keep up with directions. It would've also been helpful for the ingredient list to clarify the weight or approx size of the beef cuts, and if possible, to recommend where to get ingredients like beef bones; HEB and HEB Central Market didn't have them.
