Class Experience

Class Ratio (instructor : student) 1:6
8 week session: $240
During swim lessons, beginner swimmers will learn to master the following skills with confidence in a fun, loving environment:
- Getting into the water/getting use to the water
- Safely entering and moving around in the water
- Blowing bubbles in the water
- Wets their hands and then face
- Submerges the mouth and nose
- Kicks legs and blows bubbles
- Splashing and being comfortable with water in the air
L1 = Level 1: for children 1-2 years of age
L2 = Level 2: for children 3-4 years of age
Other Things To Know
Missed swim days will not be refunded but may be made up in another time based on availability.

Improvements:
This was the worst planned event I have been to. The description made it seem like the kids were going to dye eggs. But they painted a piece of wood that you can get at the dollar store. No smocks, not even paper towels were provided. This was supposed to be a drop off event but there were zero supervisors, and no instructors to make it fun. Once my toddler painted her piece of wood she sat in a chair and WAITED FOR PAINT TO DRY. No one was allowed in the gym, EVERY kid was disappointed.

The instructors were very friendly, engaging, and supportive.
Improvements:
The class description outlined an agenda that I perceived as some free play but mostly instruction. This class felt like more free play than instruction, though. There’s nothing wrong with that format, so I don’t think it needs to change. I just don’t think it matched the description. Since that’s not the format we were expecting, I feel bad having potentially taken a spot from someone who was looking for that format.

My daughter came from another gymnastics class at a different facility and was a little hesitant as her last experience wasn't the best. She left last night after her first class with so much confidence and excitement for the next week! It was so refreshing to see that spark back in her. Thanks so much to the teachers, especially Ms. Carli for providing an environment of comfort, support and fun! You can see Carli & Jess truly love to work with the kids, help them improve all with encouragement!
