Class Experience
Embark on a creative adventure with our Beginner's Drawing Class tailored for children ages 6-8! Dive into the exciting world of drawing as we focus on the sheer joy of learning. Through engaging activities and step-by-step guidance, young artists will discover the magic of putting pencil to paper and bringing their imaginations to life. Join us for a journey filled with laughter, exploration, and artistic expression! Material Fee: This fee covers all materials used during class, supplies needed to facilitate the art session, and a Take-Home Art Kit provided at the end of the course.

Low Enrollment for Classes/Camp/Workshops Policy:
Please note that The Art Beat will notify participants 1 week prior to the start of your class, if the class has low enrollment and is in danger of being canceled. We require at least 3 registrants to run a class. 3 days prior to the first day of class we will make final decisions on canceled classes. We will then reach out to all participants in an attempt to transfer them to another class. If we could not reach or have not heard from the participants 2 days prior to the start of your class, a store credit will be issued to your account.
All pieces that are not glazed during the session, will be dipped in a solid color. *Fees may apply to any accommodations made for a return visit to come back and glaze. Accommodations are not guaranteed*
Other Things To Know
A full refund is available for cancellations made more than seven days in advance. Store credit for registration fee only is available for cancellations made seven days to 72 hours before the start date. No refunds or credits for cancellations made less than 72 hours before the start of the class, camp or workshop.

It was fun and low pressure
Improvements:
The communication about when the fired pottery would be ready was inconsistent. I had to call multiple times to check on the pieces and have still not gotten word that they are ready over a month later. I was told they would be ready the week following the class.

We’re sorry for the miscommunication—pottery can take 4–6 weeks to be ready depending on drying time and glazing (dip-glazed or return-to-glaze). Rushing the process can damage pieces. I loved the relaxing environment and how much fun it was to just paint. I also love how my painting turned out. I really enjoyed how wonderfully organized this class was with all the paints.
Improvements:
I think if the instructor could go a bit slower, he went kind of fast when teaching this tonight. I loved the coca cola, but also enjoy Diet Coke as well.

Includes clay, firing and glazing at home or we will dip in color of your choice. Canvas Painting, step by step with an instructor. You choose from our many canvas choices.
