Working with the clay on the wheel is a pleasure, and the camaraderie among those of us in the group is always a treat.
Improvements:
We used to pay more attention to keeping the tools clean and ready for the next group, but lately, we are having to use tools that seem to have been neglected for quite awhile?

Loved:
The pottery wheel has become my joy in retirement. I look forward to my weekly time to create with the clay, and enjoy being with a group enjoying the same thing. Even the failures teach me, and provide a sense of accomplishment...
Improvements:
Erinn is always Improving things and making the experience better. I especially like the way the wheels were repositioned into a circle. It’s easier for the instructor to interact with the group, and we have more chances to interact.

I loved the 1 on 1 help Nic gave us when it came to learning how to work with the clay.
Improvements:
The wheels could all be of similar strength. Clean the aprons more. I ended up bringing my own.

Response from The Art Beat
We are so glad you enjoyed the 1 on 1 instructions our small and personal potter’s wheel classes provide. We wash all of our aprons regularly. However, sometimes during the youth classes the children wipe their hands on the aprons and not on the rags, as instructed to do. We will be putting name tags on our aprons from now on. We appreciate your feedback.
