Class Experience
This class is designed to celebrate your inner dancer, whether you are new to classical ballet techniques or returning to the ballet barre after a long hiatus. Each exercise is designed to improve balance, core stabilization, fluidity of movement, coordination of upper and lower extremities, and musicality. The long-term goal is to gradually move from holding the barre to center work without it.
- Ballet barres will be provided by SOTA with two students per barre on a first-come, first served basis
- Fitness attire and ballet slippers are recommended
- A recording will be provided of each class for at-home practice purposes
This class is open to everyone and supports personal goals, making it eligible for OPWDD Self-Direction funding.

Loved:
Just the right tone was set by our instructor. She makes us feel that we are doing good work. It’s a treat to be adjacent to the artistic loveliness that is ballet. We may never achieve anything close to perfection but it feels very special to try. 🤓
Improvements:
I can’t think of a thing.
