Ahora puedes aprender a tocar el violín y a conocer la cultura mexicana con Sones de México Ensemble.
¡Los padres también se pueden inscribir y aprender sobre la música y la cultura de México junto con sus hijos! Tenemos descuentos familiares para hermanos, primos, abuelos, padres e hijos que quieran aprender a tocar violín juntos. También aceptamos adultos sin niños interesados en aprender en un ambiente familiar.
Las clases son en español y el repertorio se deriva en el folclor mexicano. Sin embargo, las bases musicales y la teoría que aprenderán se pueden aplicar en cualquier estilo de música. No hace falta experiencia previa.
En el NIVEL 1, los estudiantes aprenden a sujetar, afinar y cuidar de su instrumento, cómo acompañar una canción con cuerdas abiertas usando la técnica de pizzicato con la mano derecha y cómo sujetar el arco. También aprenden sus primeras melodías mientras aprenden sobre la historia y la geografía de México.

Now you can learn to play violin and learn about Mexican culture with Sones de México Ensemble.
Parents can also sign up and bond with their children by learning music and culture of Mexico together! We have family discounts for siblings, cousins, grandparents, parents and children who want to learn to play guitar together. We also welcome adults without kids who are willing to learn in a family oriented environment.
The classes are in Spanish and the repertoire is based on Mexican folk music. However, the musical training and theory students receive is applicable to any style of music. No prior experience is required.
On LEVEL 1, students learn basic violin setup and care, proper playing posture, how to accompany a song with open-strings using pizzicato right hand technique and how to hold the bow. They also learn their first songs while they learn about the history and geography of Mexico.

What you'll learn
- En el NIVEL 1, los estudiantes aprenden a sujetar, afinar y cuidar de su instrumento. También aprenden sus primeras melodías mientras aprenden sobre la historia y la geografía de México.
- In LEVEL 1, students learn how to hold and tune their violin, and how to play their first melodies. They also learn about the history and geography of Mexico.
Other Things To Know

Pueden inscribirse los padres con sus hijos y adultos sin niños para aprender todos juntos en un ambiente familiar. / We welcome parents to sign up with their children and adults without children to learn together in a family environment.

• Recomendamos que los estudiantes practiquen los ejercicios que el maestro indique por lo menos 5 minutos todos los días.
• Students should practice the exercises recommended by the teacher at least 5 minutes every day.
