Class Experience
In this course, students will focus on Sentence Fluency, Voice, and Conventions, building on the principles introduced in the fall. Through diverse topics, readings, and prompts, they’ll refine their writing and editing skills over the first nine weeks. In the second half, students will enhance their mechanics, like sentence structure and punctuation, while crafting and analyzing engaging narratives.

- Class 1 Sentence Fluency: Creating a Purposeful Rhythm
-Topics: Rhythm, Music of Writing, Short & Long Sentences, Short & Long Paragraphs
Class 2 Sentence Fluency: Varying Sentence Structure and Length
-Topics: Sentences, Varying Sentences, Independent & Dependent Clauses, Introductory Phrasing
Class 3 Sentence Fluency: Using Quotations
- -Topics: Finding Quotations, Research, Introducing Quotations, Interpreting Quotations, Using Quotations for your Argument
Class 4 Sentence Fluency: Writing a Smooth Paragraph
-Topics: Strong Paragraphs, Structure, Short & Long Sentences, Different Paragraph Purposes

Improvements:
About the homework, since my child didn’t receive homework, we sent email to teacher, we sent texts by wechet to the instructor, never got response… we kind of feel lost
