Class Experience
Calling all astronauts! This week children will begin to explore the vast concept that is outer space. Children will create themselves as astronauts floating through the atmosphere on large butcher paper, learn about the sun, moon, stars and planets through art, music, and movement. Hold on tight as we zoom, zoom, zoom, to the moon!
Sample Class Format
- 9:00-9:50- Campers will begin their day in our playspace where they will have open play with their amazing camp counselors.
- 9:50- 10:00- Meeting Time: Camp counselors will welcome each child with an interactive name song/book and get them excited for the theme of the day
- 10:00-10:30- Classroom time where children will explore the weeks theme in great depth (art, sensory, dance, music, etc.)
- 10:30-11:00- Snacktime and bathroom/prep to go outside
- 11:00-12:00- Outdoor play in Carroll Park where children will play and enjoy the summer sun, both unstructured playground and structured time on the asphalt available (chalk, art, bubbles, balls).
- 12:00- Goodbye to our half-day campers

Other Things To Know
There are no fees to change your child's reservation to another week (space depending), but all changes must be made at least two weeks in advance. Any cancellations will be issued as a camp credit, no monetary refunds will be provided.

- Change of clothes
- Diapers if needed
