Class Experience
Unlock the power of drawing, the foundation of visual arts! Ideal for kids looking to improve their skills and hand control. Join our class to practice classical drawing exercises, building confidence in sketching and creating exciting compositions. Through topics interesting to them (like characters, animals, and people), students learn to create form, render accurate proportions, apply color theory, build texture, and so much more. Drawing is a skill that improves with consistent practice, and a full course is highly recommended. Returning students are welcome and will receive support to further enhance their skills.
Sample Class Format
- Learn how to achieve accurate proportions
- Develop an eye for line, form, and tone using a combination of pencil, colored pencils, and markers.
- Learn to draw your favorite characters
- Improve hand-eye coordination and motor skills

To reschedule a single class, purchase a Rescheduling Ticket 24 hours before class.
To reschedule a full semester, email us for a credit (less a $75 admin fee). No refunds will be provided.

Excellent class and projects. My daughter had a great time and really liked the teachers.
Improvements:
Based on what my daughter said there wasn’t a ton of room for creativity- she felt like she had to stick to the way the teacher said to do the projects.

About Creatively Wild Art Studio
Since 2009, Creatively Wild Art Studio has been providing top-quality visual arts instruction in the heart of DUMBO, Brooklyn. Our studio is committed to presenting an innovative and vibrant range of learning opportunities accessible to all ages, abilities, and backgrounds. We balance our classes with professional skill development and a fun approach so students are relaxed and open to learning. Our team of teaching artists (made up of working artists) is committed to delivering first-class instruction through professional-level skills, equipping students with the tools they need for their art journeys. We offer full courses and drop-in options for all ages and levels all year long.:

Our award-winning program includes school break camps for kids and teens. We're nominated as the Best Camp in Brooklyn (Best of Brooklyn Awards) for the third year running! Our camps are offered throughout the year: summer, spring break, winter break, and most public holidays and school recesses.
