Class Experience
Join Unicoi as we celebrate Black, Womens' and AAPI History month with a Cookie and Canvas showcasing an amazing artist from each group during the month of celebration!
During the 90 minute class, our professional art instructor will introduce the artist and the painting with a brief history of their work while everyone enjoys a few cookies. Each painting will be inspired by the work of that month's artist! With step-by-step instructions and individual guidance, you are sure to leave with an amazing artwork you'll be proud to display!

Other Things To Know
Adults are welcomed to drop-off, stay and assist their children, or grab a paintbrush and create their own painting!
Please notify Unicoi by email or phone/voicemail at least 12 hours ahead of class you need to cancel. No refunds will be given but credit can be used for a future class or camp.
No credits if notification not recieve 12hr ahead of class.

About Unicoi Art Studio
We specialize in drawing out the imagination! Unicoi Art Studio has been providing exceptional art activities for kids in Chicago since 1999. We were voted the best art classes in the city for 2008 and 2009, by the parents of Chicago (Nickelodeon’s Parents Picks Award). Unicoi’s mission is to “draw” out the imagination in every child, with projects designed to be informative, engaging and fun for children ages 3-15. We use premium quality artist materials, so at a young age the students experience rich colors, unusual textures and a variety of unique materials. Our teaching philosophy is for children to be able to use their creativity to explore the subjects that interest them and for our teachers to provide the safe and structured environment to support their exploration.
