Class Experience
Learn how to throw on the pottery wheel as a team! Bring your grandma, your cousin, or a friend. Together, you'll learn how to wedge, center and throw a piece. You will each work on your own wheel. We'll glaze your piece for you and you can pick it up in 2-3 weeks. Be ready to experiment and be flexible- wheel throwing takes practice, so remember, your first piece might not be perfect!
This class is priced for 2 people. If you would like to add a 2nd child or a 2nd adult, you may do so at checkout.
Price includes firing fees, clay and everything you need to try out the wheel.
By registering for this class, you agree to allow yourself or your child to be occasionally photographed for Betty's social media platforms, including Instagram. If you would like to OPT OUT of this agreement, please email us at info@bettysceramicsclub.com before the start date of your class. Thanks!

This class is for two people, an adult and a child. You may add a second child at checkout.
A full refund will be issued more than two weeks prior to the first class date. 50% refund if cancellation takes place between 2 weeks- 48 hours. There will be no refunds or transfers for cancellations within 48 hours of your first class.

The studio is beautiful, luminous and well equipped. Sophia, our instructor was sweet, knowledgeable and patient. The dynamic of the class was fun and easy to follow.

The place is really awesome, Brianna was kind and patient.
Improvements:
I feel like our expectations could get been set better: I assumed we would be the only family at the activity. Brianna kindly offered us to take a second try at the wheel but at the very end she explained that we could only keep one and that we couldn’t even pay to keep our second creations. I would also say that I was disappointed to find the bathroom covered in heavy dust. It is obvious that no one has vacuumed or swept the floor in weeks.
