WHAT IS MEGA MIX?

For the first time kids will get a taste of everthing the lab has to offer - that's TEN YEARS worth of amazing program design - all in a SINGLE after school program (which will run every day in every Game Lab location)!

The first few weeks of the semester, kids will get a chance to sample different types of gaming and tell us what they love. After that, each time they come to the lab there will be two great options to suit their preference!

While each of our locations will have a primary focus (Dungeons & Dragons at South Slope, board games at Center Slope), every kid - regardless of day or location - will now have the chance to play:

BOARD GAMES

DUNGEONS & DRAGONS

IMMORTAL CHESS (invent new pieces!)

MONSTERS & MINIS (tabletop battles with epic props)

OUTDOOR PLAY (including Battle Lab)

DESIGN YOUR OWN GAME (new this Fall)

WRITERS WORKSHOP (fantasy-based writing)

and much, much more...

Every kid will still participate in the “Immortal Games” at the end of their day. This massive, youth mega-game sees kids banding together, strategizing together and finding their people!

Maximum choice, maximum camaraderie, and maximum exposure to the richest archive of game-based youth programming on Earth (maybe).

This is going to be an epic year!

Kids earn merits for creativity,  fair play, and positive contributions to the game.

SCHEDULE AND PICKUP

This after school program meets once a week from 3:30 – 6:00 pm, with an option for extended day.

We offer school pick up at select schools at school dismissal. Register for school pick up with your after school program registration.

Our after school programs are not held on days when public school is closed, including for inclement weather.  These closures are factored into the program fee.

COST

The first installment is charged upon registration; subsequent installments are charged on the 1st of the upcoming months. The last charge is on the first of the last month of the semester. If you register after the start of the school year, your fee is prorated.

Want more than one session per week, or have two children who want to play?

A discount of 5% is applied to each session purchased!

If you need to change your day, location or program during the school year, just let us know!  We accommodate changes at no charge, as long as there is availability.

If you know your child will be absent for registered sessions, let us know. We can schedule "advance make ups" as well as make ups after the absence.
